Resident Evil 2 demo confirmed for later this week

Resident Evil 2 demo will be available for a limited time, Capcom has confirmed.

As rumoured last month, the demo is a special one. Called a ‘1-Shot Demo’, it will provide 30 minutes of access only. If a player meets the demo’s objective ahead of the 30 minute time limit, they’ll be able to start over again. If a player dies before the 30 minutes is up, he or she will be able to continue “any number of times until the full 30 minutes have been reached,” Capcom confirmed.

From the teaser video below, the demo appears to mirror the one Stevivor’s played back at E3 2018 (and PAX AUS 2018). It revolves around Leon S. Kennedy as he first enters the Raccoon City Police Department.

The demo will be available on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One and PS4 between 11-31 January.

Resident Evil 2 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 25 January.
