Remaining EA Play subs will be rolled into Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft confirms

Those who have existing EA Play subscriptions will see remaining time rolled into their Xbox Game Pass subscription, in a similar manner that Xbox Live Gold subscription time was rolled into Xbox Game Pass.

Microsoft made the confirmation over Twitter, writing, “EA Play members who purchased EA Play through Xbox and join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will have their EA Play membership automatically canceled and any remaining time will be rounded up and converted to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.”

Microsoft added that it will “have more to share before EA Play arrives!”

This past week, Microsoft and EA confirmed that EA Play will be added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC subscriptions at no extra charge.
