Switch Online December 2019: Star Fox 2 & more

Six new SNES and NES titles will be added to the Nintendo Switch Online service in December 2016, Nintendo has advised.

Among them is Star Fox 2, a game that was developed and shelved rather than released when Nintendo instead opted to work on Star Fox 64. It’s joined by three other SNES titles and two NES titles.

Here are the titles that will be made available from 12 December:

  • Star Fox 2 (SNES)
  • Super Punch-Out (SNES)
  • Kirby Super Star (SNES)
  • Breath of Fire 2 (SNES)
  • Journey to Silius (NES)
  • Crystalis (NES)

In Japan, the list is slightly different:

  • Star Fox 2
  • Kirby Super Deluxe
  • Famicom Wars
  • Route-16 Turbo
