PlayStation Plus Essentials January 2025 freebies

Suicide Squad goes free as live updates finish.

PlayStation Plus Essentials January 2025 freebies have been announced by Sony and includes Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League.

PlayStation Plus subscribers in each and every tier of the program — Essential, Extra, Deluxe and Premium — will be able to download the following titles for free over the next month. They’re in addition to the library of titles offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers above the Essential tier.

Last month: December 2024  |  This month: January 2025  |  Next month: February 2025

  • Squad Kill the Justice League (PS5)
  • Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered (PS4)
  • The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe (PS4, PS5)

The titles above will become available from 8 January here in Australia. Suicide Squad‘s final January 2025 update will provide a patch to take it offline.

What do you make of the free games above? Don’t forget that those in Extra, Deluxe and Premium also have access to a larger library of titles too.

Additionally, always remember that all PS4 games listed above can also be downloaded and played on PS5.

Depending on when you read this, there still may be a short while while left to pick up PlayStation Plus free games for December 2024 — so make sure you go and do so!
