Red Dead Redemption 2 special editions have exclusive content unavailable to its standard edition, Rockstar Games has confirmed.
It was recently revealed that both the Special and Ultimate Editions of the game will include the exclusive missions, with Rockstar today confirming both Bank Robbery and Gang Hideout bonuses will not be available in the standard edition.
“The Bank Robbery and Gang Hideout included in the RDR2 Special Edition are side activities created specifically for that edition,” Rockstar tweeted, “and are not part of the main story.”

Rockstar was careful to point out that the content is not part of the main story — and the publisher could always provide access at a later date. Still, fans aren’t happy about Rockstar’s decision.
