Red Dead Redemption 2 install sizes confirmed by Rockstar

Red Dead Redemption 2 install sizes have today been confirmed by Rockstar Games.

They’re close to the listings that went up on digital stores for both Xbox One and PS4, but it’s still newsworthy as these figures come direct from Rockstar itself.

Here’s what you’ll need to set aside in terms of storage:

Disc-based game storage

  • PS4: 99GB installation space
  • Xbox One: 107GB installation space

Digital purchase game storage

  • PS4: 99GB installation space (with an additional 50GB for the installation process)
  • Xbox One: 107GB installation space

That’s a big game, eh? Good thing those who’ve pre-ordered can start pre-loading today ahead of release.

Red Dead Redemption 2 heads to Xbox One and PS4 on 26 October.
