Red Dead Online beta kicks off this week

A rolling Red Dead Online beta will kick off this week, Rockstar Games has detailed.

Those who purchased the Red Dead Redemption 2‘s Ultimate Edition will get first crack on from 12.30am AEDT on 28 November, followed by those who take time to play the game today a day later on 29 November.

Next comes everyone who played the game during its launch weekend (26-29 October) on 30 November. Everyone else will follow on 1 December here in Australia.

Got all that?

It’s likely the phased rollout is to mitigate issues that Grand Theft Auto Online players experienced at launch back in 2013. Regardless, we’re almost in everyone! Surely you have more single-player to play while you wait.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on Xbox One and PS4.
