Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart PlayStation State of Play coming later this week

Alongside confirmation of the name of the mysterious female Lombax.

A special Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart PlayStation State of Play will be livestreamed later this week, Sony and Insomniac Games have today confirmed.

The news comes alongside a fresh new Rift Apart gameplay trailer and confirmation of the name of the female Lombax who’s featured in marketing since the game’s announcement: Rivet.

“Rivet is a Lombax resistance fighter from another dimension, where the evil Emperor Nefarious hunts all those who oppose him,” Insomniac’s Marcus Smith wrote. “You saw brand-new locations like Nefarious City, and alternate-dimension twists on old favorites like Sargasso and Torren IV along with a sneak-peak at some new weapons and gameplay mechanics.”

Here within Australia, the State of Play will begin at 7.00 am AEST on 30 April (or check your own timezone here). The event promises “more than 15 minutes of fresh gameplay.”

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is a PS5 exclusive available from 11 June.
