Queer Games Festival 2022 now accepting entries

Ahead of the event's December 2022 debut.

The Queer Games Festival 2022 is now accepting entries ahead of its 6 December 2022 debut.

Festival organisers will accept submissions until a deadline of 30 September.

Now in its fifth year, the Melbourne-based event seeks to “inform, entertain and challenge LGBTIQ players by reflecting their lives in games” and “bring the best of world queer culture to Melbourne and to connect international and Australian game developers.”

Organisers are looking for LGBTIQ games from around the world; those interested in submitting their work can do so here.

As in previous years, an Emerging Developer Award will bestow a cash prize of $500 USD to one developer.
