PUBG Xbox One keyboard & mouse support to be disabled

Those using a keyboard and mouse on PUBG‘s Xbox One version will soon find themselves in strife, as the game’s developer is making an effort to remove the functionality forever.

“We have been gathering in-game information regarding Third Party device usage over the past few months,” PUBG Community Coordinator ‘RoboDanjal’ tweeted. “Although usage of these devices is statistically very low, fair gameplay is core to our experience, and we will be communicating our plan to curb the use of these devices soon.”

Third-party devices like Xim, which allow keyboard and mouse control on Xbox One, are the ones referenced by RoboDanjal’s tweet. The Community Manager also posted the same notice in the PUBG forums last month.

We’ll keep you informed as more is known.

PUBG is available now on Windows PC and Xbox One. Those on PC can register to try the game’s newest map, Savage.
