PUBG will launch at 30FPS across all Xbox One consoles

While PUBG is likely capable of 60 frames-per-second (FPS) on Xbox One X, it won’t be launching with it.

Brendan ‘PlayerUnknown’ Greene has taken to Twitter to confirm that PUBG will launch at 30FPS across Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X.

“While I previously stated PUBG would run at higher FPS at XGP launch on 12/12, I want to clarify that PUBG will run at 30 FPS across all Xbox One devices,” he wrote. “We’re constantly refining the game & exploring options to increase FPS, but this early in dev, we’re unable to confirm more.”

No reason for the backtrack was given. We’ll let you know as more is known.

PUBG is available now on Windows PC and heads to Xbox One on 12 December.
