This PS5 Simulator will tide you over while you wait for the real thing

A new PS5 Simulator game is just that: a free title that lets you experience the magic of a new generation of console if you’ve missed out on a pre-order.

Developed by Alex Grade, the simulator starts off as you’d expect… and then ends as you might also expect if you’ve played the likes of Goat Simulator. In short, things get a little weird.

“Your brand new PS5 has finally arrived! All you have to do now is unpack it, plug it in and get it set up and you’ll be able to enjoy some cutting edge 4K 60fps gaming,” Grade said, detailing the title. “However, before you can enjoy your copy of Knack 3 you’ll have to deal with extension cords, cutting open boxes, a busted router and a variety of other things that will take precious time and mess up your house.”

The title is free, available for Windows PC, and can be downloaded right here. Grade estimates it will take most players around 10 minutes to complete.

The PS5 is available now; we reviewed it here.
