PS5 auto-upload to PlayStation mobile app now available

PS5 auto-upload of captures to the PlayStation mobile app is now available in regions outside of North America, including Australia.

The feature has been available in North America since January of this year.

To enable the new feature, with automatically places screenshots and videos inside your mobile app for ease of access and sharing, head into the PS5’s Media Gallery app. Once there, you’ll get a screen like the one shown below.

As per the prompt, the feature will “Automatically upload your latest screenshots and video clips, and view them on PlayStation App.” Once there, the content will “be available on your PlayStation App for 14 days after you create them,” the prompt continues. “Note that your video clips are limited to three minutes or less.”

If you want to make changes to the feature once on (or if you’ve dismissed the prompt), heading into Settings > Captures and Broadcasts in the PS5’s menu.
