PS5 auto-upload of captures coming to PlayStation mobile app

Yes!

The PS5 will soon be able to auto-upload captures including screenshots and videos to the PlayStation mobile app.

Currently rolling out in North America and expected for all regions shortly, the feature has been in testing in select regions in the past.

When available on your console, you’ll get a prompt as above (with thanks to Gaming-Interactive-Photos on Twitter).

The prompt will inform players of the functionality that will “Automatically upload your latest screenshots and video clips, and view them on PlayStation App.”

The content will then “be available on your PlayStation App for 14 days after you create them,” the prompt continues. “Note that your video clips are limited to three minutes or less.”

To make changes to the settings, head to Captures and Broadcasts in the PS5’s menu.

We’ll let you know when the functionality makes it to Australian PS5s.
