PS4 search functionality isn’t the absolute worst any more

PS4 search functionality, formerly a bloated, vertical mess, has now been revised and is actually helpful. Hallelujah!

The new search functionality is as a user would expect — a text field that allows a user to type in what they’re after. The previous, time-consuming search forced users to pick one letter at a time from a vertical list of letters.

The new search should be available to all PS4 users now, Sony recently advised.

Sure, it’s not a huge game-changer, but the improved UI is nonetheless greatly appreciated.

Have you tried the new search yet? What do you think of it?
