PS4 Pro: Ben Heck’s recent teardown explains why there’s no 4K Blu-ray player

A recent episode of The Ben Heck Show is all about the PS4 Pro… and to a lesser extent, its lack of a 4K Blu-ray player.

Heck also compares the PS4 Pro to the PS4 Slim and the Xbox One S as part of his teardown, as you can see below:

According to Heck, the PS4 Pro’s Blu-ray drive is the same as the PS4 Slim’s, which explains its lack of 4K support.
