PS4 gets a redesigned TV & Video app in Australia and Europe

Sony has today introduced a new TV & Video hub on PS4 that bundles together video content.

The publisher outlined the benefits of the new hub as follows:

  • Browse in one place – Find familiar or new movies, TV shows, live events and user generated content from your favourite PS4 video partners in a single place without jumping in and out of apps
  • Discover featured content – Quickly see the best content on offer from select subscription, transactional/rental and free video providers
  • Access popular apps –  Easily access your PS Store “My Videos” and the most popular 3rd party video services, as well as the full list of available video apps

“We are very excited to launch this brand new interface in Australia,” said Patrick Lagana of Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia.

“Whether it’s finding a favourite film or discovering the next big series in television, it’ll allow Australian PS4 households to navigate the large variety of exceptional content across multiple video and TV services available on PlayStation with ease.”

The updated hub, shown above, has launched in Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
