Project Scorpio will feature an integrated power brick and will require an adapter for Kinect

Microsoft’s Project Scorpio will take after the Xbox One S, integrating its power brick and lacking a port for Kinect.

The information was made available as part of Digital Foundry’s initial Scorpio report, potentially missed due to a deluge of specs.

The site says the rear of the Scorpio will be configured much like the current Xbox One S.

“Since port arrangement is based on Xbox One S, there’s no return for the original Xbox One’s Kinect port (a USB adapter is required) but the HDMI input is retained,” Digital Foundry wrote.

Project Scorpio is expected this holiday season. After treated to a look at its innards last week, we’ve yet to see its outside.
