Project Scorpio is now called Xbox One X

Microsoft started up its E3 press conference this morning with a look at Project Scorpio.

The opening of the conference gave us our first look at, “the most powerful console ever made, as described by Microsoft’s Phil Spencer, shown above.

The console’s reveal trailer can be viewed below:

The console allows for true 4K gaming, with 6 all-important teraflops of power and 9GB of GDDR5 RAM available to developers.

The Xbox One X will be available worldwide on 7 November. Pricing has been confirmed at $499 USD, or $649 AUD.
