The Pokemon Go January 2020 Community Day will revolve around the adorable Piplup, developer Niantic recently confirmed.
Those in the northern hemisphere will be able to take advantage of increased Piplup spawn rates, 1/4 hatch rate distances, a potential new Piplup move and three-hour lure bonuses between 11.00 am and 2.00 pm local time on 19 January.
In the southern hemisphere — we’re looking at you, Aussies — players will be able to take part between 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm local time on 19 January.
“Fast TMs and Charged TMs will not grant exclusive moves during Community Day,” Niantic also advised. “To learn the exclusive move, you must catch or evolve the featured Pokémon during Community Day hours.”
Pokemon Go is currently available on iOS and Android devices.
