Pokemon Go adds more Pokemon spawns in remote areas

Pokemon Go has added more Pokemon spawns worldwide, meaning those in remote areas will have greater opportunity to catch ’em all.

“To ensure that all Trainers around the world have an exciting experience and improved access to gameplay, Trainers may now encounter Pokémon in more places than before. There were also some areas of the world where Pokémon may have been more densely populated,” developer Niantic said, describing the change, which was previously hinted at earlier in the year.

“In these places, Pokémon should now be more spread out. This migration of Pokémon has nearly doubled the number of locations where Pokémon can be found in the wild around the world.”

Niantic also confirmed that the change was made to encourage more players to go out and explore.

Pokemon Go is available now on iOS and Android devices.
