Pokemon Go 7km eggs will only hatch fossils from now on

Pokemon Go 7km eggs have been changed up, now only hatching fossil Pokemon.

Developer Niantic has advised of the change, which doesn’t seem to have an end update. It means that Pokemon like Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Lileep, Anorith and Archen will come out of 7km and no others. Pokemon like Riolu will now hatch from 10km eggs.

It should be noted that any 7km eggs you’ve obtained before today will hatch older Pokemon; any new ones will be fossil-only.

What do you make of today’s change? Sounds off in the comments section, below.

Pokemon Go is available now on iOS and Android devices.
