PlayStation’s first State of Play 2026 takes place 13 February

And it's at a relatively decent time!

Sony has announced the first PlayStation State of Play for 2026, and it’s taking place in the early morning of 13 February here in Australia.

You can expect the broadcast from 9.00 am AEDT on 13 February here in Australia, or you can check your own local timezone by clicking this link. The livestream is also embedded below for your convenience.

PlayStation has promised “60+ minutes of news, gameplay updates, and announcements from game studios across the globe,” adding that the livestream will “spotlight eye-catching third-party and indie games headed to PS5, along with the latest from teams at PlayStation Studios.”

Beyond Sony’s statement, we don’t know what to expect from the event. The likes of Resident Evil Requiem isn’t far off and fans remain hopeful (perhaps too hopeful) of a surprise demo announcement. We’re also far more likely to see something from Insomniac’s Wolverine.

We’ll report back with the news as it happens. Until then, what are you hoping to see from the livestream?
