PlayStation Trophy system changes detailed by Sony

PlayStation Trophy system changes have been implemented today by Sony, and we’ve got all the changes detailed for Trophy hunters.

First, Sony’s confirmed that your PS3 and PS4 Trophies will carry over onto the PlayStation 5. Moreover, Trophy levels will be expanded from 1-100 to 1-999. If you’ve already hit the 100 level cap, don’t worry, as your earned points have been scaled and you’ll have a new level in the expanded system.

The levelling system has also been tweaked to early levels don’t require as much work (do you feel like you’re in a real-life RPG now?), with points for Platinum Trophies obviously giving you the biggest boost.

All the changes to the PlayStation Trophy system have been detailed on the PlayStation Blog.

The PS5 heads to store shelves on 12 November.
