PlayStation television’s Powers gets a director for its first two episodes

Sony yesterday announced that they’ve lined up a director for the first two episodes of their Powers PlayStation television series.

Adapted from the graphic novel by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, Powers‘ first two episodes have been written by Charlie Huston. David Slade will take over directorial duties for the episodes.

Slade has directed episodes of Breaking Bad, Awake, Hannibal and Crossbones as well as feature films like 30 Days of Night and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Powers will debut at the end of the year and will be free to watch for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
