PlayStation Showcase 2023 coming 25 May in Australia

Set those alarms.

The PlayStation Showcase 2023 — timed for Summer Game Fest, though weeks earlier than other events — is set for 25 May here in Australia.

Aussies should mark their calendars for 6.00 am AEST on 25 May, which corresponds to 1.00 pm PT, 4.00 pm ET and 9.00 pm UK time on 24 May.

Sony has said we’ll get a look at “new creations” from PlayStation first-party studios alongside works from third-party devs too.

We’ll have more ahead of the showcase as it’s announced — or leaked — including where and how to watch. We’ve also embedded the showcase below so it’s ready to go.

In the meantime, what are you hoping to see from the event? More Spider-Man 2? Some Wolverine? Something altogether not related to a comic book property? Shout out in the comments section, below.

Steve Wright

Steve's the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Stevivor.com, the country’s leading independent video games outlet. Steve arrived in Australia back in 2001 on what was meant to be a three-month working holiday before deciding to emigrate and, eventually, becoming a citizen.

Stevivor is a combination of ‘Steve’ and ‘Survivor’, which made more sense back in 2001 when Jeff Probst was up in Queensland. The site started as Steve’s travel blog before transitioning over into video games.

Aside from video games, Steve has interests in hockey and Star Trek, playing the former and helping to cover video games about the latter on TrekMovie.com. By day, Steve works as the communications manager of the peak body representing Victorians as they age.
