PlayStation Plus open multiplayer event starts tonight

The PlayStation Plus open multiplayer event kicks off this weekend, giving players the chance to play multiplayer content without the need for a PlayStation Plus subscription.

Freeplay starts tonight at 9.00 pm AEDT and runs straight through until 9.00 pm AEDT on 20 November.

The freeplay means players will get to play Destiny 2 and Gran Turismo Sport alongside multiplayer components of Call of Duty: WWII without a PlayStation Plus subscription.

For more information about the event, head to the PlayStation Blog. The PlayStation Store also details available subscription packages should you get the multiplayer itch. PlayStation Plus memberships offer cloud saves, free games each month and the aforementioned multiplayer access.
