PlayStation Plus free trial adds 7 days to a subscription

... but not in Australia as yet.

PlayStation Plus will provide users in the UK with a seven-day trial of Extra or Premium (their better version of our Deluxe), Eurogamer reports.

Those new to PlayStation Plus will receive a free seven day trial when signing up for either tier of the service; the catch is that a user will need to input credit card details and sign up for a monthly, 3-monthly, or yearly subscription.

If you’re taking up the free offer, it’s wise to cancel your subscription before your billing period begins.

The offer may exist in our regions outside the UK; sadly, our own testing here in Australia shows that a seven-day trial is not on offer as yet. We’d ask Sony for clarification, but you know how that’s going.
