PlayStation Plus Deluxe subs can now stream Sony movies on PS5

Say hello to Sony Pictures Core.

Sony Pictures Core is the name of a new service that will allow PlayStation Plus Deluxe subscribers the chance to stream a range of Sony movies on the PS4 or PS5.

The app is actually Sony’s new movie streaming platform, renamed from Bravia Core, and will let users purchase or rent Sony films.

Over on PlayStation, Deluxe (or Premium if you’re not in Australia) subscribers will be able to use the app to “get access to a curated catalog of up to 100 movies… through the Sony Pictures Core app to stream on demand from the Sony Pictures library as part of [their] membership”.

Titles as part of the library include Looper, Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV, Elysium and Resident Evil Damnation.
