PlayStation Plus Australia to get 60Hz NTSC Classics

PlayStation Plus Australia will receive faster, 60Hz NTSC versions of PlayStation Classics in future, Sony has recently confirmed.

Sony’s pledge comes after regions including Australia received slower, 50Hz PAL versions of titles rather than their North American counterparts.

“We’re planning to roll out NTSC options for a majority of classic games offered on the PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe plan in Asia, Europe, Middle East, India, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand regions,” Sony said on Twitter.

Current PSone Classics include Ape Escape, Hot Shots Golf, I.Q Intelligent Qube, Jumping Flash!, Mr. Driller, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, Resident Evil Director’s Cut, Syphon Filter, Tekken 2, Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!, Wild Arms, Worms Armageddon and Worms World Party.

Do you have PlayStation Plus? Have you upgraded to Extras or Deluxe? Why or why not?
