PlayStation Now will be available on PS5, Sony confirms

The PlayStation Now streaming service will be available through the PS5, Sony has recently revealed.

The news comes by way of Famitsu Magazine, which spoke with Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Yasuhiro Osaki. The Sony rep also confirmed that more popular titles will be added to the PlayStation Now service on a monthly basis, though time-limited additions will also increase.

Not yet available in Australia, PlayStation Now is a subscription streaming service that offers a library of over 700 PS2, PS3 and PS4 games. The addition of PS5 games to the service has not yet been confirmed by Sony.

The PS5 is scheduled for a holiday 2020 release; we’ll keep you informed as more is made available.
