PlayStation Network down (1 September 2021)

Update (8.58 am AEST): The PlayStation Network looks to be back up and running.

Original story: The PlayStation Network is currently down around the world and here in Australia (1 September 2021).

The PSN Network Service Status page shows red across the board.

According to the site, account management, gaming and social, PlayStation Video and the PlayStation Store are all impacted across platforms including PS Vita, PS3, PS4, PS5, the web and “other”.

You may have difficulty signing in or creating and PlayStation Network arround, launching games or apps, accessing PlayStation Video content or buying new content within the PlayStation Store.

The last update on the matter was at 4.34 am AEST; we’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
