A new PS4 ad in Europe confirms that the UK will see Sony’s next-gen console before the end of the year. It also should provide Australians hope of a similar launch window.
At their PS4 reveal in February this year, Sony announced the PS4 was coming in “Holiday 2013,” but wouldn’t say if the release was global or would be staged across different regions.
The ad, which you can see in full below, ran over the weekend in the UK’s Metro newspaper. PlayStation Europe later tweeted the ad, adding that the PS4 is “Coming 2013.”
Sony’s PS3 was released to Europe and Australia a full six months later than it was in North America. It appears as if history won’t be repeating itself… at least in Europe, this far.
