PlayStation companion app delayed in Australia; should be available on PS4 launch day

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Blog Manager Fred Dutton took to the PlayStation Blog over the weekend to confirm that the PlayStation App has been delayed in Europe and Australia, but should be available for PS4 launch on 29 November.

“We previously announced that the PlayStation app would launch today, 22nd November,” Dutton said. “However, we’re still making some final tweaks to ensure the experience is butter-smooth for you ahead of the PS4 launch next Friday. The app will now launch next week, in plenty of time for the arrival of PS4 on 29th November.”

The PlayStation App was available in North Americam on 13 November, two days before the PS4 launch in that region.

The app will be available on both iOS and Android devices.
