PlayStation Australia’s #PSPlusPlays comp to receive new grand prize

PlayStation Australia’s #PSPlusPlays competition will award a new grand prize in the wake of PAX AUS 2020’s cancellation, the publisher today confirmed.

The news came at the same time July 2020’s competition was unveiled, one revolving around NBA 2K20.

This month’s challenge? Show Sony your best MyPLAYER dunk. Do that, get selected as the winner, and you’ll walk away with a physical NBA All-Star 2020 Prize Pack & Anthony Davis LA Lakers Jersey, plus 450,000 Virtual Currency from 2K and Sony.

If you’ve got a game capture of the perfect play, ensure you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber and then share that clip to Twitter with the hashtag #PSPlusPlays. It wouldn’t hurt to tag @PlayStationAU either.

All entries to the competition will be entered in the grand prize draw, though it’s unclear what that is at the moment.

“Following the official postponement of PAX AUS 2020 due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, we are currently reviewing a replacement #PSPlusPlays grand prize and will have further information to share on this at a later date,” a PlayStation Australia representative confirmed with Stevivor.

NBA 2K20 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch. The title is currently free to PlayStation Plus users over July 2020.
