PlayStation Australia learns its lesson, no longer suggesting pre-orders for Christmas

It’s that time of year again: the month before Christmas when PR firms email out their gift guides suggestions.

This year, the firm representing Sony PlayStation nailed it, offering up consoles and titles actually available at retail when Santa normally rolls around.

Bundled alongside PlayStation staples — the PS4 Slim ($439.95 AUD), PS4 Pro ($559.95 AUD) and PlayStation VR ($549.95 AUD) were titles The Last Guardian ($99.95 AUD, 7 December), PlayStation VR Worlds ($54.95 AUD) and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End ($99.95 AUD).

Last year, a representative from Sony PlayStation suggested the gift of an Uncharted 4 pre-order, even though the game wasn’t available until March the next year.

What Sony titles are you planning on giving to loved ones this holiday season?
