Platinum Games teases Wonderful 101 for Nintendo Switch

Update: It’s official — the game will head to PC, Switch and PS4. Read more here.

Original story: Platinum Games has taken to Twitter to tease the release of The Wonderful 101 on Nintendo Switch.

“Scenes from the PG office! Who’s that photobombing Hideki Kamiya,” Platinum Games asked in a tweet showing Kamiya with a Switch and surrounded by devices that referenced both a 1:01 time and 10/1 date.

The Wonderful 101 was first released on Wii U back in 2013; in our review, we said “the central conceit for W101 is interesting, but ultimately one that simply can’t be sustained for the duration” and largely chalked that up to the usage of the Wii U’s large touchscreen. Maybe things will be different on Switch?

We’ll have more on The Wonderful 101 on Switch as it’s made available.
