Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 gets a free update, microtransaction support

EA and PopCap have recently released a free content update for Garden Warfare 2 in the form of its “Graveyard Variety Pack”.

The update contains a new map, missions and other tweaks.

The new map is called Aqua Center, which is a zombified version of a map featured in the original Garden Warfare.

The update will also allow for microtransactions in-game; packs range from $2.49 USD for 56,000 in-game coins all the way up to $20 USD for 630,000 coins.
