A Plague Tale Innocence enhanced on Xbox Series, PS5 in July

Play in its best form possible before the sequel comes out!

A Plague Tale Innocence will be enhanced on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5 in July, developer Asobo Studio has today confirmed.

From 6 July, players can expect the title in 4K resolution at 60 FPS (frames-per-second) alongside support for 3D audio.

A Plague Tale Innocence places players in the shoes of Amicia and Hugo de Rune, siblings on the search for an illness plaguing Hugo. They trek across 14th century France in the middle of a very (VERY!) creepy supernatural swarm of rats who intend to spread the black plague. Throw in a bit of the French Inquisition for good measure, and the de Runes certainly have their hands full.

A sequel to Innocence, A Plague Tale Requiem, was recently confirmed for a 2022 across Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Xbox Cloud Gaming, PS5 and Switch.

A Plague Tale Innocence is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4 and PS5. It’s also part of the Xbox Game Pass program.
