Phil Spencer would like to bring original Xbox games to Xbox One backwards compatibility

Responding to a Twitter question, Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has said he’d “like to find the time to” bring original Xbox games to Xbox One via backwards compatibility.

Despite the positive response, Spencer also points out Microsoft isn’t “working on it right now”:

The Xbox One can currently play a host of Xbox 360 titles via backwards compatibility. The Xbox 360 itself supported backwards compatibility of original Xbox games.

We’ll keep you posted.
