Overwatch’s Pink Mercy skin raised $12.7 million USD for charity

Overwatch‘s Pink Mercy skin raised more than $12.7 million USD in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Blizzard today advised.

“This is the largest donation by a corporate partner within one year in BCRF’s 25-year history, and it’s all because of you,” Blizzard said to their fans.

The combination of sales of the skin itself alongside a limited-edition shirt designed by community artist Vickisigh, led to the monumental amount raised. Blizzard today confirmed it donated “100% of the proceeds it received from sales of the skin to BCRF” (though we’re still wondering if Sony took a cut beforehand).

Feels good, doesn’t it?

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
