Overwatch Winter Wonderland 2020 event now live

Feeling even more festive?

The Overwatch Winter Wonderland 2020 event is now live, offering a new, limited-time game modes alongside weekly challenges and new cosmetics.

Mei’s Snowball Offensive, Yeti Hunt and Snowball Deathmatch and now joined by a fourth festive mode, 4v4 Freezethaw Elimination. To win, one team must completely freeze (aka kill) the other. Allies on your team have the opportunity to thaw out frozen teammates to revive them.

Running over three weeks between 16 December and 6 January 2021, weekly challenges are as follows:

  • Week 1: Elf Junkrat (Epic)
  • Week 2: Gingerbread Ana (Epic)
  • Week 3: Frosty Roadhog (Epic)

To secure the prizes, you must win nine games in each week.

Finally, the event will offer five new Legendary Skins — Conductor Reinhardt, Penguin Mei, Ice Empress Moira, Toybot Zenyatta and Lumberjack Torbjorn — alongside three Epic Skins and a handful of player icons and sprays.

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
