Overwatch is the top grossing PC game of 2016

Blizzard’s Overwatch has generated the largest revenue of any other (non-free-to-play) PC game in 2016.

According to research firm SuperData, the popular shooter bested the likes of juggernaut Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Minecraft to take top honours, amassing $585.6 million USD in revenue.

The top earning PC games of 2016 are as follows:

  • Overwatch – $585.6M
  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – $257.2M
  • Guild Wars 2 – $91.0M
  • Minecraft – $88.7M
  • Fallout 4 – $74.9M
