Overwatch: Loot Box duplicates will soon be “drastically” reduced

Blizzard is “drastically reducing the amount of duplicates” you’ll find inside Overwatch‘s Loot Boxes, the developer today advised.

Moreover, Blizzard will increase the amount of credits that players will receive from Loot Boxes, Blizzard’s Jeff Kaplan confirmed as part of a new developer update.

Kaplan also detailed changes made to in-game highlights. Players will be able to record their own highlight reels or retrieve captures done by Overwatch itself. The changes will work across Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Overwatch is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. It’s currently in the midst of its fifth competitive season.
