Overwatch Archives 2021 event starts later today

Are you ready for some PvE?

The Overwatch Archives 2021 event will start later today, Activision Blizzard has confirmed.

This year’s event is a continuation of the popular, yearly event, which removes players from their familiar PvP (player versus player) environments to play in PvE (player versus enemy) instead.

We’re not sure what to properly expect as yet, but the Archives event usually promises a look into Overwatch lore of old alongside new Skins, Sprays, Loot Boxes and more. We’ll let you know when more information is available.

The Overwatch Archives 2021 event runs between 6-27 April.

Update: New cosmetics have been detailed for the event, as follows:

  • Legendary skins: “Bushi” Genji, “Calvary” Tracer, “Mousquetaire” Widowmaker, “Polyanitsa” Zarya and “1776” Soldier: 76
  • Epic skins: “Camouflage” Mercy, “Corredor” Lucio and “Subaquatic” Zenyatta
  • New Player Icons

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
