Overwatch Arcade, detailed: Loot Boxes and new modes replace the Weekly Brawl

Overwatch‘s new Arcade mode has been further detailed, allowing for a number of new experiences within Blizzard’s popular hero shooter.

Replacing the game’s Weekly Brawl mode, Arcade will host a series of regularly rotating modes. It will also offer up Loot Boxes for players who try out a new mode.

Modes like the existing High Noon will be added to Arcade, as will new modes like the 1v1, best of 9 Mystery duel, a 6v6 Mystery hero brawl, 3v3 Elimination and 6v6 No Limits, where all players on a team have the option to select the same hero character.

New hero Sombra was also confirmed at this past weekend’s BlizzCon in Anaheim, USA.
