Overkill’s The Walking Dead delayed indefinitely on console

Overkill’s The Walking Dead has been delayed indefinitely on consoles, Starbreeze and Overkill have confirmed.

“Starbreeze AB is currently evaluating and reviewing the performance of the game Overkill’s The Walking Dead on consoles,” Starbreeze said in a recent release. Console versions of the game were previously delayed to this year.

The notification shouldn’t come as a surprise; Starbreeze Studios filed for the equivalent of bankruptcy late last year, firing its CEO at the same time. In November, the studio reported “disappointing” sales regarding the PC version of Overkill’s The Walking Dead.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead is currently available on Windows PC.
