Original Xbox backwards compatibility announcement teased

Microsoft has teased an update on original Xbox backwards compatibility to come next week.

The update will be delivered as part of Microsoft’s new Inside Xbox program, a livestreamed show hosted by Xbox’s Larry Hryb and Graeme Boyd.

“One of our most common requests is for Original Xbox Backward Compatibility news, and we’ll be starting off the show with a big update on just that,” a post on Xbox Wire teases.

Original Xbox backward compatibility on Xbox One was announced at last E3; in October 2017, 13 total games were released as part of the program, though no more titles have been available since.

The next episode of Inside Xbox will air 8.30 am AEST on 11 April.

Which new original Xbox backwards compatible games are you hoping for? I’m desperate for Buffy the Vampire Slayer myself.
