Nvidia RTX 3070 delayed into late October

The Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU has been delayed into late October in order to ensure more units are available for purchase, Nvidia declared over the weekend.

The RTX 3070 will now be available for purchase on 29 October.

“Production of GeForce RTX 3070 graphics cards are ramping quickly,” Nvidia said on its website. “We’ve heard from many of you that there should be more cards available on launch day. To help make that happen, we are updating the availability date to Thursday, October 29th.”

Both the Nvidia RTX 3080 and 3090 sold out in a matter of minutes, with Aussie retailer Mwave resorting to a raffle to ensure customers could purchase the GPU in as fair a manner as possible.
