No Man’s Sky: Server issues mean discoveries look like they’ve reset

No Man’s Sky user has taken to Reddit to complain that a majority of his in-game discoveries had been wiped.

While some outlets immediately reported that the game would reset discoveries after two weeks, user Dark Nexis clarified his post, suggesting a server issue was really to blame.

“True, Just [sic] seems like a bug with the menu then not loading all your past discoveries,” the user later added. “It prob [sic] takes less the 1kb to store all the discoveries someone has found on the server.”

Meanwhile, Redditors on the original post seem divided, with some saying it’s a server issue, and others insisting information has been wiped.

Developer Hello Games has yet to comment on the issue, though they’ve been patching the game like crazy of late.
